Gary was my Dad. He was also loving husband to Susan, my Mom; Dad to Dani, Nickey, Gary, Garrett, and Regina; "adopted" Dad to many more; brother to Carol, Karen, Wanda, David, Glen, Tina, and Odie; "bro" to Mike, Fletcher, Ben, Stacey, and many more; and Uncle and Grandpa to too many to name here. You know who you are, and you know he loved all of you very much.

For those of you who knew him, you know the kind of man he was. Eternally loving, full of answers and advice or just a shoulder to cry on. Anyone who met him knew that they could come to him with anything, and not be afraid of judgement or scorn - there was only love.

My cousin called me this morning, asking where my dad was buried. The thought had crossed my mind several times that Dad was cremated; there is no burial plot, no place to visit, cry, or place flowers. Maybe this will help all of us.

This site is for anyone who knew and loved Gary. Feel free to post comments, pictures, memories, or anything else that moves you.

Dad-isms

...or Gary-isms, if you'd like ...

"It's all insanity, anyway."
The infamous, "Phooey."
"I am... ze Mang-lo."
"Walk softly, drink lots of water, and carry a big stick."
"That's just stinkin' thinkin'."
"TCB." (Take care of Business)
"But don't ever, ever, do THIS to a family of badgers..."
"I love you more than life itself."

There are so many more - help me out!
Well, I've gone through my computer and it seems as though I need to go through and scan all pictures again. I'll post some soon; please bear with me. I will be moving this over to an actual website because Blogger moves stuff around too much, but anything anyone posts here will move with it and I will post the new linky when I get it up and running. It will also make it easier to add pics and navigate through everything. I'll also be getting with some of you to collaberate on pictures and stories. In the meantime, feel free to comment/post anything you want. Love you guys.
